Yarn Along

Yarn Along photo 6.17

I don’t have much news to report – I’m still reading A Storm of Swords, and I’m almost done with the back panel of my English rib sweater. The photos show the sweater’s two textures: ribbing on the “right side” and an interesting nubby texture on the “wrong side.” Every time I make this sweater I always think about piecing it together “inside out” because I love that interior texture so much. Maybe next time.

I’m loving that sweater! By any chance, is the pattern still available?

Yes, it should be. It’s the English Rib Pullover from Yankee Knitter Patterns. Last I checked, YN had a very old school website with instructions on how to order by mail, but I’ve heard that some of their patterns are for sale on Ravelry now. YN patterns are great: classic, reliable, and simple enough to knit at the end of a long day. Good luck!

  5. The texture really does look beautiful on the inside but I love the ribbing, it looks so neat.
