Today sucked because in two days I get to be here.  And I need a vacation.  I have some plans to wax philosophical on the blog about my relationship with Yosemite, but I’m not sure it’s going to happen.  I plan to be busy hiking.

Also, I’d like to see this part of Yosemite again:

This is the Mariposa Grove, land of giant sequoias.  It was closed last year, but this is from two years ago.  Pictures don’t do these trees justice.

Just one ten hour shift to go tomorrow, then it’s smooth sailing down Highway 140 for a five day trip to the place I like to call Disneyland for the REI set.
