    What is it about books? I just love books. I love going into book stores. The Sacramento SPCA is having their annual used book sale beginning of November. It is like Christmas!

      I think we must be programmed to love books for the same reason we’re programmed to love fat and sugar and salt – because our genes remember a time when we were deprived of them. Or at least that theory would work if a larger percentage of the population responded to books the way we do…

        I read something a while ago…describing a book like an old friend. I just love looking at my bookshelf at all the books I will someday read. The difference is I don’t feel the guilt like I do with unfinished projects. Lord knows I have a ton of those….

    Right – the books are “for purgatory.” They have a clear theological purpose. 🙂
