Thanks to a well-timed Harry Potter marathon this weekend, my oatmeal sweater is almost done. This is the final sleeve, which needs another inch or two – then I can start piecing it and knitting the neck. It shouldn’t be too much longer before I can wear my oatmeal sweater while eating actual oatmeal – which for some reason pleases me a great deal.
I am reading Paula Lichtarowicz’s weird, intriguing novel, The First Book of Calamity Leek. I look forward to reviewing it soon.
I hope you all enjoy the last Wednesday of 2015. Happy New Year!
Yarn Along is hosted by Ginny on her blog, Small Things.
Happy New Year! Knitting and watching a good movie is my favorite thing ever 🙂
Happy New Year to you as well!
I love crafting while watching Harry Potter movies. Your sweater looks great.
Thanks!
I can’t wait until my kids are a little older and we can watch Harry Potter too! I love the idea of an HP marathon all cozy during the Christmas holidays with them! Beautiful sweater!!
Thanks!
Happy New Year! Harry Potter is pretty much the best to craft to. 🙂
Sometimes a good marathon is all that is needed to get a project moving quickly! Have a Happy New Year 🙂
Your knitting looks beautiful!
Thanks !!!
Harry Potter marathon sounds so good! Can’t wait to see the sweater. I love the yarn!
Yay for Harry Potter marathons! HP is one of my favorite things to watch while knitting since I basically have them all memorized. Plus they’re full of knits and cozy atmosphere! I love the texture on your sweater. Hopefully you’ll be able to enjoy your warm sweater and some warm oatmeal soon! 🙂 (I’m a fellow oatmeal lover — yum!)
Ooh good timing with the movie marathon! I totally want to watch Harry Potter now…
Glad to see your sweater nearly done, maybe an F.O. next week?
Yes, maybe! I got the piecing done yesterday. I tend to be slow with necks, though. We’ll see!
