This will be a slow blogging weekend for me, I think. My reading list is eclectic as always; this weekend it includes medieval warfare fantasy, an insipid contemporary comic novel, a Marine Corps training manual, a cookbook and food-history book about broth, and my own novel-in-progress, which I am reading and re-reading just to make sure I don’t leave any plot threads hanging (that’s it in the white binder: look how thick it’s getting!). On Sunday I will tell you all about the disaster that is Jonathan Tropper’s This is Where I Leave You, and then on Monday I’ll check in again about Game of Thrones, which I am still enjoying. But for now I’m just saying hi. I hope all our readers are doing well and that your weekend includes some good reading!
