I’m not reading all of the books in this photo, but I might as well be. My life for the last couple of weeks has been a chaotic mess of knitting, reading, writing, and hurting, with an emphasis on knitting and hurting. My memory may be inaccurate, but I think I’ve had more pain in the last six weeks than I did in the weeks and months before I quit my job because I was in too much pain to function – which is scary because even though it took me way too long to work up the courage to quit, I always knew that option was available. What comes after quitting your job? You don’t have to answer that.
The photo shows an almost-completed sleeve of an adult rollneck sweater. It’s in my size, but I’m not sure if it will end up being for me or if I will give it as a gift. We’ll see.
Here’s another photo. I like photos with angles.
If all goes well, by this coming weekend I will have finished at least a couple of the many, many books I’m reading and will be able to get some decent blogging done. In the meantime, Happy Wednesday!
Yarn Along is hosted by Ginny on her blog, Small Things.
did you take a photo of my bookshelves? I have probably more than half of those books setting on mine! BTW….I read a couple chapters of Eating Animals about 2 years ago and haven’t been able to eat chicken since; it might be time to eliminate something else…..I might read another chapter soon!
That’s funny that our book collections overlap so much. I want to read Eating Animals, but I’m having so many other issues surrounding food right now that the last thing I need is to become a vegetarian. I’ve heard so many stories of how persuasive it is…
I’m sorry about all the pain! But, the stack of books definitely makes me happy 🙂 I love that cream white color too, so pretty! I think it will make a beautiful sweater!
Thanks – books and yarn go so nicely together. I love the cream color too…
So sorry to read about your pain. But those books! Looks like my house!
i’m so sorry about your pain. ((hug))
love the sleeve photos with all the books!
Sorry about the pain, but your books! Wonderful shelves!!
So sorry to hear you are hurting. I wish you relief from that soon. I love your book shelves. Mine are not nearly so full though I wish they were.
I am sorry. Take away the pain part and I feel like my life is similar in chaos. I hope things get better soon for you!
