Can this really be the FIFTH week in a row that I’ve posted a picture of this half-finished orange cowl? I haven’t had much time for knitting lately – or, more precisely, I’ve been using time that could have potentially been for knitting for reading or writing. But I still wanted to stop in to Yarn Along and say hello. The orange cowl and I are still chugging along, and so is PAT CONROY MONTH!!! 2014.
Yarn Along is hosted by Ginny on her blog, Small Things.
loved south of broad! it’s almost october…..you NEED that orange cowl!
Sigh – I wish that were true. September and October are the warmest months of the year here in San Francisco. Working on this cowl has made me realize how much I miss real cold weather, so I’ll be seeking out a real winter climate at some point this year.
That’s OK. I feel like I’m making no progress on my cardigan. I’ll just keep knitting!
That’s the good thing about knitting – it’s always there!
It took me two years to finish a cardigan, I think 5 eeks for a cowl is ok..
Haha – thanks! At times I am a marathon knitter and can finish a project like this in a couple of days, but that spirit hasn’t been hitting me much lately.
