I’m still playing around with the tank sweater pattern. I have two in progress, one (pictured above) in red and pink (it’s not as Valentine-vomity as it sounds, I promise) and one in tan and cream. I haven’t been knitting as much as usual in the last 3-4 weeks. I’ve been writing a lot, and – well, and nothing. I don’t know. The time just keeps passing without containing much knitting. I’ve also ripped the above sweater out 3-4 times and started over, which could be where some of the time went.
Pictured above are Anna Karenina, which I’m still reading happily, and my Kindle, which contains Written in My Own Heart’s Blood. Yes, I went the economical route, although it’s one of those Kindle books that don’t tell you which page you’re on – only what ‘location.’ I am not a fan. If I had known in advance that I wouldn’t know which page I was on, I would probably have bought the hard copy.
And guess what? I’m also reading some vampire porn. Review coming soon, I hope!
Our stats page indicates that we’ve received a lot of visits lately from readers wanting recaps of the books in Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series. Welcome, everyone – we hope you enjoy our blog! Even if you came originally for Diana Gabaldon, we hope you’ll stay for the knitting and the A.P. challenge and vampire porn and PAT CONROY MONTH! and everything else we do here in Purgatory.
Yarn Along is hosted by Ginny on her blog, Small Things.
what vampire porn are you reading?? Or is it a surprise?
Remember when you gave me that list of witch/vampire books for my research? I bought a couple of them on Kindle and am reading Dead Until Dark.
Charlaine Harris, huh? I really feel like that series builds on itself. You may need to read a few before you get a real sense of it. And then you’ll need to read them all… Even the last few that were kind of awful. And if you want to read them all I have them all, so if you want to borrow them you can.
It feels 100% like the one “Shakespeare” book of hers that I read. Sookie’s voice is exactly like Lily’s voice.
Why does that not surprise me?
